EGYPT

WELCOME TO EGYPT TRAVEL GUIDE

Egypt is one of the most mysterious destinations on the planet, and it had been on my bucket list for years! Between the Nile, the Red Sea, Alexandria, Cairo, and pyramids that date back to 2500 BC, there’s so much history and culture to experience.

Whether you’re concerned about the country’s safety or you just haven’t thought much about Egypt, this guide will put it on the map for you and show you just how magical a trip to Egypt can truly be.

You absolutely shouldn’t miss the chaotic capital of Cairo or the sheer depth of history you’ll find at the Pyramids of Giza. You’ll definitely want to venture down the Red Sea at Luxor. And, don’t miss out on taking a magical Nile cruise, either!

BEST TIME TO Visit

As you may know, Egypt is a desert so it can get quite toasty. You’ll likely want to plan your trip around the weather, meaning the best time to visit is from October to April.

However, December and January are considered peak season so you’ll find long lines at iconic sites such as the Temples of Luxor and the Pyramids of Giza. Resort prices also soar during these months.

If a little heat doesn’t bother you, summer months are met with temperatures in the 90’s and intense humidity, but fewer crowds. With many of the ancient sites are outside, you’ll want to plan all of your sightseeing for the early morning or late afternoon to avoid the midday heat

June to September is the best time to visit the Red Sea beach resorts to do a little snorkeling or scuba diving
